PADI Divemaster (4-8 weeks)

This is where your PADI professional dive training begins. During the Divemaster program you will work closely with a team of experienced PADI instructors, assisting courses, developing your leadership abilities and enhancing your dive skills. 


PADI Divemaster Course by Your IDC


The course covers all aspects of being a PADI dive professional, from understand the physiology and physics, to using an SMB and mapping a dive site. Through a variety of workshops, both in and out the water you will gain valuable real-life experience and gain confidence as a professional.

PADI Assistant Instructor

Not sure if you want to become a full instructor, or not enough time for the full Instructor Development Course? 

Most people attend to the full IDC to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor after the Instructor Examination (IE), however it is your choice to divide your training into the first part, the PADI Assistant Instructor (AI) and follow up with the PADI OWSI program later.


PADI Assistent Instructor Course by Your IDC


The Assistant Instructor Course is a 6-day program, which can be conducted as the first half of an IDC or as a standalone course. This course introduces you to the role of an instructional assistant, both in academic teaching as well as confined and open water training. As a PADI Assistant Instructor you can gain experience teaching, under the supervision of a PADI Instructor, before committing to the full Instructor Development Course. 


PADI Speciality Instructor Courses

Broaden your skills and enhance your employability with PADI Specialty Instructor courses. These courses teach Open Water Scuba Instructors how to promote, organise and conduct PADI Speciality Diver courses in a fun, safe and rewarding way. 


PADI Specialty Courses with Your IDC

Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) Program

Kick start your career with our Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) Program. This program is a package of 5 Instructor Speciality Courses that can be taken straight after successful completion of the PADI IDC and IE. To qualify as a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, you will need to issue 25 PADI certifications of any level, which will be easy now you teach so many specialities! 

Team Teaching Opportunities

We understand that teaching your first course alone after your IDC can be a daunting prospect. Team teaching allows you increase your confidence and gain valuable experience with real students. You will work alongside our current instructors teaching PADI courses.

This will also help you along your way to the 25 certifications required to submit your PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer application. 


IDC Staff Instructor

As a PADI Staff Instructor you will enhance your own training techniques and help shape next generation of PADI professionals. 


PADI IDC Staff Instructor Course with Your IDC


Pre-requisites to start your PADI IDC Staff Instructor Course:

  • Be an PADI MSDT in active teaching status 
  • Be an EFRI instructor 

During a PADI IDC you will shadow a Course Director, learning how to fairly evaluate and mentor instructor candidates to build their confidence. Acting a PADI role model you will help to guide the instructor candidates through the course, whilst delving deeper into the psychology of teaching with your Course Director. 

Upon successfully completing the PADI Staff Instructor Course you will be able to teach the PADI Assistant Instructor Course independently as well as assisting on PADI IDCs.
