Joeri’s Diving Story

PADI Course Director Joeri conducting PADI IDC

From his very first breath underwater, Joeri knew that he wanted to make scuba diving his career. You could say it was love at first bubble! He worked hard to continue his diving education through to instructor level. After a year teaching in the Gili Islands he travelled to Thailand and Australia where he gained valuable experience in different environments.

Joeri missed the tranquillity of life of his island home and returned in 2014 to put down roots on Gili Air. His love for teaching led him to support with Instructor Development Courses at Oceans 5 Dive 5* PADI CDC Centre and finally become a PADI Course Director himself. He is and will always be generous supporting the local community on Gili Air and the worldwide diving community.
